The owners are conveniently situated at the local news agents .They will be available to meet and greet you on arrival and happy to assist you with a wealth of local information.
The small market town of Masham is situated ideally at the foot of Wensleydale, it boasts 2 breweries, and 4 local inns, and a selection of restaurants to suit every palate.
For the more active, fishing on the river Ure and Leighton reservoir is close by. Masham has a beautiful parkland,
9 hole golf course and other sporting amenities within
easy walking distance. For those who prefer walking there are a range of options from leisurely walks along the river to more challenging hikes in the dales.
The Spa town of Harrogate is close by, where you can a full day enjoying the charms that the Victorian town
has to offer. Littered with high class shopping and dining opportunities and beautiful floral gardens.
The historic city of York and commercial centre of Leeds
are also very accessible with the A1 dual carriage way running north to south close by.
